Making handmade jewelry — Earrings

Making handmade jewelry is fun, challenging, and can be lucrative. It also requires some organization. It helps to have the proper tools. A felt numbered beading tray to organize your beads in advance. The board allows you to set up your beads so that they don't roll around.
If you're making earrings, make sure the wire you're using is at least a half inch longer than you need for your earring. Hold up the pin like a needle. Then thread each bead using tweezers — this will help you stabilize the bead so that you can put it on the wire. Use round-nose pliers to make a loop. Finally, open the end of a French earring wire, attach the earring, and close the wire.
Your handmade earrings are now ready to be worn and admired.
